She fell on the floor after the fight. That's all he could remember. Everything went black after that. Just a big blurr in his memory...
He found himself in the hospital two weeks later, asking around what happened. But nobody would answer. When he finally asked his best friend, she burst out crying. "You killed her", she said, not looking at him. He felt something explode in his chest when he heard that. Not asking anymore questions, she left him staring out in front of him.
It was after that that he changed.
No more bright smiles, no more that loud voice, no more trying to get attention from anyone. His usual positive self was gone. Only the negative side remained. His daily duties changed also. First, it was: waking up, get a shower, brush his teeth, get some ramen, look if he got a mission or not, train a bit, spying... I mean observing her, go back home, have some ramen again and dream about her. Now it was waking up, get a shower, brush his teeth and train like he never did. He ignored everyone and never asked questions when on missions, nor did his friends and teammates ask him anything. And with all that special training, he failed to notice that look of worry from someone who was really special to him.
A week after his change his grandmother, also known as the leader of the village he lived in, told him something. They never found her body... If they didn't, then maybe she was alive and well! His positive side took control again. Asking his grandmother to leave and search for her, made the leader smile. She already knew what would happen. She permitted and he left in a rush. The training made him stronger and faster than he was before everything that happened. He searched for hours but didn't find her. Hours turned into days, days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. Until that one blessing day...

I searched with bruises on my body. A moment ago I got attacked by some of my enemies. They always wanted that, that stupid thing in my stomach. Damn it, if only they would just leave me alone. Leave us alone! None of this would've happened! She would be still alive'ttebayo... Let's not think about the past. She is still somewhere in the forest. She had to be'ttebayo! I tripped over a branch. My vision was blurred. Tears were daring to fall out of my eyes. I let them fall'ttebayo. I couldn't take it anymore. I shouted, sobbed... I was desperate.
"Hinata!" Me screaming her name echoed back to me. It was awful living without her. I noticed my changes because I changed myself. I didn't want to do anything anymore, yet at the same time I wanted to at least do something to get her back'ttebayo.
I heard something at my left and turned to look. She stood there. Smile on her face, those pale lavender eyes sparkling and her hood on leaving her bangs visible.
She spoke up: "So, you were searching for me all that time?"
"...You knew?"
"Of course, I watched you."
I walked up to her. "...Come back with me. Please. I-I need you'ttebayo."
She shook her head and looked down. "I can't. They already think I'm dead, so..." She took a deep breath and looked at me again. "...Let's keep it that way."
"Why? Hinata, please. I know what you're talking about, but please come back with me and I assure you everything will be okay'ttebayo." I was pleading, begging. I did everything I could. Just for her to come back. Pathetic? No... If you're in love you'll do anything you can to be with that person. I really knew what she was talking about. Her dad. That one person who had accepted me after I told them about us. He was happy, he really was. But the council wasn't and they told me I couldn't see her anymore. It was painful. I couldn't, can't and won't live without her!
She shook her head again and smiled. "I'm sorry, Naruto-kun."
I looked down after this. Silence filled the air. I looked at her again. She didn't notice, but I was actually checking her out. Her beautiful midnight blue hair, her mesmerizing pale lavender orbs, her fragile-looking pale skin. She was perfect'ttebayo.
And I...
I was nothing. But I promised her and I won't go back on my words. "...If you won't come back..." I reached for the knot of my head band and loosened it. "...Then I'll go with you." The head band fell on the ground. She looked at me with wide eyes. I smiled at her.
"...I promised you, didn't I'ttebayo?"
She smiled, letting her teeth show. Damn, I loved that smile.

"Damn it!" Tsunade cursed as she found it out.
"Tsunade-sama, there's no need to curse."
"There is! I just lost my freakin' grandson out of sight!"
The moment it fell on the ground was the moment Tsunade couldn't see anything on her radar. She already sent a team to retrieve them both, but they didn't come back yet.
"Tsunade-sama..."
"What?!"
"What if... What if they're with each other?"
Before she could answer, she was disrupted by a knock. "Come in." The leader of the retrieval-team came in. She stood up, hope filled her eyes.
He shook her head.
She slumped back in the chair and sighed.
"But we did find this." He threw the items on the table.
She stared at them. The leader and her assistant left. After a minute she smiled. "Shizune."
Her assistant came back in. "Hai?"
"You wanted an answer right?"
"...Y-Yes?"
"...I'll let them be and have a happy life." She pointed on the table.
Her assistant looked wide-eyed, but then smiled.
Because on the table were the head bands from Naruto and Hinata tied around the other. They were together.

The all things that happened wasn't at his plan at all.
That was suppose to be a quiet, nice day with Hinata. He was suppose to take her out and they should do all the disgusting when thought he didn't find them disgusting to do anymore things that the couples would do; hold hands, stare at each other's eyes, make out, call each other by names.
